IUE Fashion and Textile Design Department left its mark on Atlas Global's launch

Cabin crew uniforms of an airline company consist of student design for the first time in Turkey. The debut of the collection took place in Istanbul with a fashion show. Prof. Dr. Ender Yazgan Bulgun, Dean of IUE Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Prof. Dr. Elvan Özkavruk Adanır, Head of IUE Department of Fashion and Textile Design, and Asst. Prof. Arzu Vuruşkan accompanied Eren to the fashion show.
Eren told that Atlasglobal and Hugo Boss-sponsored the design competition; collections were prepared in 48 hours and submitted to the jury. “I became the winner among 12 finalists. The education I received so far helped me greatly. While preparing the collection, we combined design and function. I always dreamt about flying. Paper planes enthralled me. Paper planes inspired me when designing my collection. We also consulted the cabin crew during the designing phase. I tried to design uniforms in which they can feel comfortable and functional,” said Eren.
