Course Objectives Being able to apply industrial requirements, crafts knowledge and material knowledge in the creation of high quality fashion products, to create and communicate fashion related concepts according to international technical standards and having a professional understanding of the various sectors within the textile and fashion industry. To develop draping skills, which is preferred by designers besides complicated flat pattern techniques (that is widely performed by industry) in order to develop more complicated products.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To be able to analyze and interpret technical drawings, photo shoots, or products, into fashion items.
  • To be able to recognize different silhouettes.
  • To be able to develop patterns of non standard model applications.
  • To be able to recognize garment fitting methods.
Course Description To develop skills that enables student to produce more complicated and finer products.
