Course Objectives The aim of this course is to give basic information about textile surface designs with different techniques.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to describe basic resist dyeing techniques.
  • will be able to use block printing and screen-printing techniques.
  • will be able to apply their original designs as monochrome and two-color piece prints.
  • will be able to prepare the repeat of the selected pattern.
  • will be able to apply the selected pattern in the form of repeat print.
  • will be able to propose a right end use for their design.
Course Description This course covers different fabric manipulation techniques and applications used in fashion design.
