Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach computer aided design technologies in order to create patterns and 3D prototypes of different types of garments.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to describe computer aided design system elements
  • will be able to use functions of CAD programs.
  • will be able to create basic blocks and design variations by these functions.
  • will be able to transform 2D patterns into 3D virtual prototyping
  • will be able to practice pattern making skills by applying their knowledge on CAD system.
Course Description This course supports pattern making by teaching functions of a recognized CAD system and applying these functions in creating and modifying the pattern.
