Course Objectives To encourage students to participate national and international design competitions related to various sectors of fashion and clothing industry , and to develop the strategies of preparation and achievement for a competition
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The students who succeeded in this course; Will be able to acknowledge the contents and conditions of design competitons organized nationally and worldwide
  • Will be able to interpret their design projects and creative ideas within the frame of a competition brief and requirements .
  • Will be able to learn time management considering the competition calendar
  • Will be able to contribute and enrich the quality of their portfolio through the design project that they have developed for the competition
  • . Will be able to undertake their experience of participating to a competition or even having a prize in as a part of their future career plan and their personal development.
Course Description In this course through the examination of the calendar and briefs of the design competitions organized by various sectors of fashion industry the students will be prepared in a way that they could apply to one national and one international competition .
